“Xural” qəzetinin baş redaktoru Əvəz Zeynallı, “Reytinq” qəzetinin baş redaktoru Afiq Mirzəbəyli və “Milli yol” qəzetinin baş redaktoru Şahin Ağabəyli Müstəqil Media Uğrunda Hərəkat təsis ediblər.

Bu gün (23 iyul) Bakı Əyləncə Mərkəzində “Yeni Nəsil” Jurnalistlər Birliyi və Azərbaycan Jurnalistlər Birliyinin təsis etdiyi “Media açarı” mükafatlarının təqdimat mərasimi keçirilib.

22nd July is National Press Day in Azerbaijan. 135 years have passed since the foundation of the National Press of Azerbaijan. Therefore journalists, representatives of journalist organizations, and diplomatic corps representives visited the graves of late journalists.     

The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety is concerned that the Media Rights Institute (MRI) program coordinator Khalid Agaliyev was called to the Baku City Chief Police Department (BCCPD) today, 21 July. IRFS assesses this as moral pressure used against an independent NGO, MRI.

Today, 21 July, the Azerbaijan Journalist Union presented the Hasan Bey Zardabi Award to several journalists on the 135th anniversary of Azerbaijan's national press.
