Today Baku Grave Crimes Court held a preparatory hearing on the case of Khural newspaper editor-in-chief Avaz Zeynalli. The case was appointed for consideration by presiding judge Ramella Allahverdiyeva.

On May 18th, Binagady District Court under judge Tarlan Akbarov held a preparatory hearing on the case of Iranian Sahar TV correspondent to Azerbaijan Anar Bayramli.

The auction of Khural newspaper’s confiscated property, scheduled for May 18th, failed to happen; apparently due to a lack of customers, according to Isgandar Bayramov, head of the Specialized Property Auctioning Center.

On May 18th at 3:00pm, the Baku Grave Crimes Court will hold a hearing on the case of Khural newspaper editor-in-chief Avaz Zeynalli, who was arrested following the lawsuit of MP Gular Ahmadova. Judge Ramella Allahverdiyeva will preside over the hearing. 

 The property of the Khural is to be auctioned off, reported Malahat Zeynalova, wife of imprisoned editor-in-chief of Khural Avaz Zeynalli, to IRFS on May 17th.
